Eugene Pienaar is a non-practising solicitor admitted in England and Wales and South Africa. He does not hold a current practising certificate and does not act as a solicitor of record.
The services provided do not constitute regulated legal advice and do not create a solicitor-client relationship. You remain the litigant in person at all times. Be Your Best Lawyer Support is not a law firm and is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority in connection with these services.
If your situation requires regulated legal advice from a practising solicitor or barrister, you will be told so.
When acting as a McKenzie Friend, Eugene Pienaar assists you as a litigant in person. A McKenzie Friend has no automatic right of audience in court proceedings. Court permission may be required in some proceedings. The court retains full discretion over whether to permit a McKenzie Friend to assist and in what capacity.
Mediation provided through Be Your Best Lawyer Support is conducted by Eugene Pienaar as an accredited mediator. Participation in mediation is voluntary and any agreement reached is subject to the parties entering into a binding written agreement. The mediator does not provide legal advice to either party during the mediation process.
